The Interface

The digital particles morph into handles as the userā€™s hand comes close to the character. Those handles can then be used to control the characters much more efficiently than using a mouse and keyboard. For example, instead of having to switch tools in order move, scale or rotate, by using the handles the user can perform these actions by simply moving, pulling and rotating the handle itself.

Onion Skin
Allows the user to see all the frames of the animation at the same time with different opacities. The most opaque represents the current frame the user is on. This enables the animator to quickly identify problems with the animation.

Co-Edit
This mode allows two users to connect together their ā€œPxlā€ devices so that they can collaborate on animating a character in real time. However, in order to avoid both users attempting to perform a change at the same time there is a system that disables the handles for one of the users while the other is editing.
